About

I'm Calvin Guzman. I graduate from Tennessee Tech with a B.S. in Computer Science in December 2026. This is my personal site.

I work at Wilson Sporting Goods in Sparta as a Data & Automation Student Associate (April 2025 to now). I also build and run redroadracing.com for my dad's team and scappraisalnetwork.com for my mom's appraisal firm. In Summer 2023 I interned at Nissan North America in Smyrna as an Overseas Chief Quality Engineer Intern. At Tennessee Tech I spent two years as an iMakerSpace technician and a 5G research assistant. In high school I built D.A.D., a dementia smart home.

Dates and numbers match resume.pdf. The short version: at Nissan I built a keyword and TF-IDF classifier that auto-sorted 82% of 33,000 repair orders in under two minutes; engineers spot-checked 1,400 and found 1,300 correct. At Wilson I write FileMaker workflows, reconcile SAP data, run Podman jobs on Kubernetes watched in Grafana, and built an OpenCV pipeline that groups product images and returns where they are stored. D.A.D. placed in the top 100 of 7,000+ in Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and won $6,500 for the school. Smart Sprout was an Eagle Works 2026 Finalist.

I run a home server that hosts 15+ services, including this site and the fishing app. The writeup is at Self-Hosted Infrastructure. Email is on Contact. Public tools live on GitHub.
